Macros quickly perform repetitive tasks in Excel, to save lots of formatting time.
First select the ExpressLane report that you wish to format from the headings below. The data must come from a source that the macro was designed to format. Then choose from the Excel sort and subtotal options available under that heading. All macros format the page for printing as well. Contact Laura for telephone or on-site support: x5795

- NSF Budget FOAP detection:
- Detail macro subtotals each Budget FOAP for Budget, YTD, Encumbrances and Budget Availability. Shows the relationship between Actual (transaction) and Budget FOAPs, so you can compare Budget to Actual.
- Summary macro condenses the output to one line per Budget FOAP, and highlights NSF balances (when Revenue is less than Budget or Expenditures are greater than Budget).
- Year to Date by Org: Totals for any Org or Fund, or ICP.
- Subtotals by Actual Organization and Account Type 2: Revenue, Personnel and M&S. Also good for ICP!
- Year to Date by Account: Subtotal by Actual account for any Org or Fund.
- Budget to Actual Comparisons:
- Macro 1: Subtotals by Fund, then Organization, and within that by Revenues and Expenses.
- Macro 2: Subtotals by Organization and within that by Revenues and Expenses.
BUDGET QUERY
- Coming Soon! Please send your recommendations for formatting.
Troubleshooting the download: You will be prompted to "Enable Macros".
After selecting that option, if you receive a white screen, click in the upper-left corner as if you were "selecting all cells" in Excel. This should populate the data into your file.
