WHAT IS GED?
The General Education Development (GED) program provides those who did not graduate from high school the opportunity to earn a high school equivalency certificate.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Anyone without a high school diploma is eligible.
COSTS?
Preparation coursework is available and free to particpants. A $95 fee covers all 5 required sub-tests and limited retakes (if necessary).
IS A GED VALUABLE TO GET?
Educators and employers since 1942 have recognized the GED as a stepping stone to advancement in employment and further educaton opportunities.
