Club/Community Sports

Club Sports
Club Sports are offered year round. These are not drop-in activities. To be eligible participants must be enrolled in at least one Lane main campus credited class during all terms of competition. Eligibility will be checked throughout the term. Person's interested need to contact the Club Sports Director (Brent Ellison) at 463-5293 or stop by PE 204. Club existence changes throughout the years as participation and interests change. Roster spaces are limited so please hurry and sign up today..

Current Clubs

Fencing
Designed to both teach and promote the art of fencing. All skill levels are welcome. The fencing club meets twice a week during which time club members fence each other. Participants in the club do not have to be registered for the fencing class. It is ,however, highly recommended. For more information about this club, please contact, Brent Ellison at ellisonb@lanecc.edu or stop by Building #5, Room 204, M-F 11:30 am-5:30 pm.

Yoga
Holistic and sustainable living Yoga Club. Learn how to care for your body and the earth. This combination style of yoga emphasizes body, mind, and spirit balancing. We will also learn some basic and necessary fundamentals to living sustainability and about making more conscious decisions in our daily lives. For more information about this club, please contact, Brent Ellison at ellisonb@lanecc.edu or stop by Building #5, Room 204, M-F 11:30am-5:30 pm.

Community Sports
Working in conjunction with the various adult community recreation leagues around Lane County, students have the opportunity to compete in a wide variety of sports. These are not drop-in activities. Rather, a team of Lane Community College students representing the school in a competitive league. To be eligible, participants must be enrolled in at least one Lane Main Campus credited class during all terms of competition. Eligibility will be checked throughout the term. Those interested in joining a league need to contact the Sports Director (Brent Ellison) at 463-5293 or stop by Building #5 Room 204 during open registration for the sport of interest.

General Rules
Roster spaces are limited and are only secure upon full receipt of payment. The cost to join a team is $20 per person (unless otherwise noted). The fee helps pay for the league. If minimal participation requirements are not met, the team will be withdrawn from the league. Competition levels for each team are TBA, as it is based on community league availability and roster experience. All the following registration dates are general approximations and subject to change.

*$18 per person payable at The City of Eugene Recreation Department Only (2700 Hilyard Street).
