High School: Philomath High School

Anticipated Major: Journalism--Advertising

A graduate of Philomath High School, Joe comes to Lane after receiving All-League honors in his senior seasons. Ran on the 2007 men’s runner up NWAACC Championship team. He adds depth in the long distances with his interests being in the 5k and 10k on the track. Besides running, Joe enjoys breaking out his snowboard and hitting the slopes when the snow is fresh and playing monopoly, but will admit that running is his life. After college he hopes to go into advertising for Nike.
