Anticipated Major: English

One of the top Pole Vaulters in the NWAACC conference. Placed 5th in last season’s conference championship with a jump of 14’9. Took 4th in the 2006 OSAA 4A state meet (14’6). His achievements in the classroom are equally impressive. A Dean’s list student, Sam hopes one day to teach English. When he’s not pole jumpin’ he can be found snowboarding and what he describes as “creepin”. His favorite Lane memory was last year’s championship when Jayce and Darryl (former athletes) started playing a banjo.
