Numerous organizations have set up hotlines and websites for providers and patients. Remember that while the Internet offers myriad rsources for both professionals and patients, health and medical sites are not peer-reviewed, and clinical decisions should not be based on information found on line.

American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology: Tips and information regarding these medical health issues.

American Diabetes Association: Information related to diabetes.

American Heart Association: Information related to cardiac health.

American Lung Association: The lungs.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention: This site includes a helpful travel section to ensure your traveling will be happy and healthy.

Columbia University’s Go Ask Alice: This website is dedicated to helping students find more information about health concerns they may have. It has an interactive Q&A interface.

Family Doctor: This is the American Academy of Family Physicians patient education web site. It is regularly updated information on a variety of health topics.

Healthfinder: This website is the English-language version of Healthfinder Español.

Healthfinder Español: is a Spanish-language web site which is helpful in tracking down health information.

Medline Plus: MedlinePlus will direct you to information to help answer health questions. MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. Preformulated MEDLINE searches are included in MedlinePlus and give easy access to medical journal articles. MedlinePlus also has extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.

Oregon Health Plan: OHP Standard provides feee or low-cost health care coverage to Oregon residents who are 19 years old or older and have limited income.

Pacificsource: PacificSource Health Plan with InTouch for Members is online access to your coverage information and a variety of health and wellness resources. Click on the PacificSource link, click on For Members, click on the InTouch logo, then click on Register Now and follow the instructions.

US National Library of Medicine: This site contains health information and links to other health education-related sites.

Virtual Health Library Stanford

Web MD: WebMD provides valuable health information, tools for managing your health, and support to those who seek information.
