Student of the Quarter

Each term staff at the Florence Center identifies students who excel in the classroom while pursuing their educational goals. Both students this Fall term exemplify many of our students who are working and carrying a heavy academic load.
David Jones is completing his pre-requisites at the Florence Center and will be applying for the Diagnostic Imaging program offered at Linn-Benton Community College beginning this summer. If accepted David will be able to take all his course work in Florence. David received a Western Lane Community Foundation scholarship of $3,000. David currently carries a 3.393 GPA
Kari Mann is finishing her pre-requisites for the Dental Hygiene program and will apply at Lane’s main campus in Eugene.
She was able to take all her pre-requisites at the Florence Center for the past two years while working full-time at a dental office and supporting her family.
Kari received a $3,000 scholarship from the Rotary Club of Florence and currently has a GPA of 4.038. Congratulations Kari Mann
