Steve has been with the Flight Technology Program since Fall 1999. He teaches the Private Pilot Ground School and Meteorology. He is also a Check Instructor. He earned his Private Pilot Certificate at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and his advanced training in Hawaii, California and Colorado.

He started flying as a Civil Air Patrol cadet and is now the Oregon Wing Commander of the Civil Air Patrol.

Steve spent ten years living in Hong Kong and has traveled extensively throughout Asia and Australia. When not flying he enjoys amateur radio, golf and riding his Harley.
