In addition to his passion for flight, Chase enjoys participating in many outdoor recreational and competitive activities. As a student at Montana State University he competed as a downhill ski racer, and during his time as a student at LCC he played goal keeper for the former LCC club soccer team. Chase's goal in aviation is to become a captain for a major airline.
