Flight Instructors
Lane Community College Aviation Academy is currently seeking applications for qualified flight instructors.
Minimum License/Rating requirements are as follows:
Commercial Pilot Certificate
Airplane Single Engine Land
Instrument Airplane
Flight Instructor Certificate
Airplane Single Engine
Instrument Airplane
Ground Instructor Certificate
Advanced
Instrument
Medical Certificate
Third Class
Flight instructors are paid as "Part-Time Faculty", however they are not limited to 20 hours per week. Hourly rates begin at $18.42 to $30.75 depending on experience. Pay is based on flight time and chargeable ground time only. Recent average pay is $1,400/mo.
