Information in this website is designed to assist current and prospective students of the Lane Dental Hygiene Program.
Lane offers a two year Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. A dental hygienist is a licensed preventive oral health professional who provides educational, clinical, and therapeutic services supporting total health through the promotion of optimal oral health.
Graduates are required to complete a state/regional practical examination, and the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination to become licensed as a Dental Hygienist. Since the program opened Lane dental hygiene graduates have completed these licensing exams with a minimum of 98% passing rate. Please use the links at left for further information.
