Bring your bike on the LTD Bus!

Due to the location of LCC most people think that riding a bike to campus is out of the question, but LTD makes it easy to bring your bike with you on the bus. LTD's Take Your Bike on the Bus web page includes:

• The Eugene Bicycle Coalition was organized in 1995 to promote bicycling as a vital part of Eugene's transportation system.
• The purpose of GEARs (Greater Eugene Area Riders) is to promote recreational bicycle riding and community bicycle activities.
• The Center for Appropriate Transport (CAT) is a non-profit organization committed to community involvement in manufacturing, using, and advocating sustainable modes of transportation.
• The Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) is a non-profit organization that has been working to promote bicycling and improve bicycling conditions in Oregon and SW Washington since 1990.
• The Oregon Pedestrian and Bicycle Program provides direction to ODOT in establishing pedestrian and bicycle facilities on state highways. They are responsible for formulating many of Oregon's policies and programs.
  

LTD is making public transportation easier then ever. LTD offers many schedule routes and times to our Eugene/Springfield community. Park and Rides are available to commuters to save money and gas. Being handicapped compliant, anyone can ride the bus! What are you waiting for?! You can be saving gas, money and time, get your pass now.

LCC Bus Pass

All Lane CC students taking a credit class on the main campus are eligible for a free bus pass after they pay the mandatory $19 transportation fee*. This also includes ESL students taking classes at main campus and the Downtown Center. You’ll arrive at school refreshed and ready for your day, not frazzled from traffic and parking. (*fee subject to change)

Visit LCC's bus pass and or LTD's student pass for more information. If you don't have a LaneCC student ID the LTD can generate a student bus pass for you at the main Eugene station.

The LTD offers buses to Lane from 7:15am-8:00pm.

Automotive transportation is the most common way students get to campus. This is evident from constant daily struggles to find parking spots. If you are frustrated with the parking battle, there are other ways to get to LaneCC that still utilize the flexibility of a car. Carpooling is a great choice that many students are participating in already! 'Park and Ride' is another option for people that don't want to carpool.

Carpooling

• The LTD offers a free computerized matching service. It's easy. Carpooling facilitated by LTD
• Use Carpoolworld.com to create your own private group or a shared carpooling option. Users will be able to control whether their trips are matched only within your private group or open to the general public.
• Erideshare.com has an active carpooling community that is well established based on your zip code. View results of Eugene search on Erideshare.
• Craigslist. Find anything local including a ride.
