When to Register

Lane’s NEW Registration Schedule begins on February 13th, 2012 for Spring 2012 Registration!

Choose the type of student you are below to determine your registration date. The dates of registration are available on the Registration Calendar. All registration begins at 7 a.m. in myLane.

Continuing Credit Students: Continuing credit students’ registration times are staged over four days, according to the number of cumulative credits completed at Lane. The box below shows when you can register. 

Community Education/Non-Credit Students: If you are registering for non-credit classes, see registration calendar for dates below.

New Student Registration: New students entering credit classes are encouraged to attend SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration).  At SOAR, you will meet with your advising team to plan your courses, learn how to register, and learn valuable information about Lane policies and procedures.

What you need to know…

• Continuing Students will register according to the cumulative number of credits they have completed at Lane. (Transfer credits are not counted.)
• All Active, Credit students will be sent messages confirming their registration times and next steps.  Check your email and/or myLane Personal Announcements frequently.
• You may need to meet with your academic advisor or counselor to be cleared to register. 
• Login to myLane after January 16 to confirm your registration time and see if there are any “holds” preventing you from registering.  Select the myEnrollment tab, and then, under Student Status, click on “When Can I Register?.”

**Your previous term's account balance must be paid in full by the Prior Term Payment Due date. If you do not pay the previous term's account balance in full, your classes will be dropped from your schedule.
