When to Register

There are three separate times registration begins, depending on which type of student you are. The dates of registration are available on the academic calendar. All registration begins at 7 a.m.

Advance Registration: Continuing credit students are eligible for Advance Registration, which allows you to enroll in classes early to ensure you get the courses you need. To gain access to Advance Registration, credit students must meet with a Counselor/Advisor once per academic year.

Continuing/Returning Student Registration: Continuing or Returning credit students or Community Education students, who have not registered through Advance Registration, are able to register when Returning Student registration begins.

New Student Registration: New students entering credit classes must wait to register until the New Student registration date. You are considered a "new" credit student if:

• You have never completed credit classes at Lane before
• You have only taken courses through our High School Connections programs, College Now or RTEC.
