Registration

All registration begins at 7 a.m. in myLane.

Check the Registration Calendar for important dates.

Continuing Credit Students

Continuing credit student registration times are staged over four days, according to the number of cumulative credits completed at Lane.

• Log into myLane
• Click on the "myEnrollment" tab
• Click on "When Can I Register?" in the "Student Status" section in the center of the screen.
• Choose the correct term.
• Confirm your registration time and see if there are any holds preventing you from registering. 

Your previous term's account balance must be paid in full by the Prior Term Due Date. If you do not pay the previous term's account balance in full, your classes will be dropped from your schedule.

New Credit Student Registration

New Lane credit students beginning a degree or certificate program at Lane:  If you attend SOAR (orientation for new students), you will be cleared to register for your first term before the Open Registration date. Log into myLane to register on the date you are given by your SOAR advisor. 

New Lane credit students who are here to take classes, and are not seeking a degree or certificate:  If you are not seeking a degree or certificate, as a new student you will be cleared to register on the Open Registration date for your first term. Log into myLane to register on that date or after.

Community Education/Non-Credit Students

If you are registering for non-credit classes, and have taken classes at Lane in the last 4 terms, log into myLane to register.  Continuing/Community Education students may also contact the Continuing Education Department at (541) 463-5252 for assistance by phone. 

For registration dates see Registration Calendar. Most Continuing/Community Education registration begins on the Open Registration date.

If you are a new non-credit student or a returning but haven't taken classes in the last 4 terms, or have questions about noncredit registration, please choose one of the following options:

• Contact the Continuing Education Department.
• Download and mail in the Continuing Education paper registration form.

Registration Hours in myLane:

• Monday-Thursday: 4:00 am to midnight
• Friday: 4:00 am to 6:00 pm, 10:00 pm to midnight
