Important Fall 2010 Admissions Update

We appreciate your interest in attending Lane fall term 2010 and you are not alone!

If any of these factors apply to you, we strongly encourage you to consider applying for winter term 2011:

• You have not yet applied for credit admissions
• You have not yet taken placement tests
• You have not yet submitted your FAFSA financial aid form and submitted the documents needed to offer you an award at Lane and you need aid to attend this fall
• You have not attended a SOAR orientation program or been advised for fall

Before proceeding to apply for admissions for fall term, it is vital that you read and understand the following critical points of information:

• Fall term 2010 Placement Testing spots are filling quickly. 
• If you are a new credit student to Lane, will be applying for financial aid or need to do testing to clear prerequisites you need to sign up for testing immediately. See Placement Testing for more information.

• Credit classes are filling quickly
• Once you are admitted to Lane, click here to review what sections are open still for fall.
• The list is sorted by:
  • main campus
  • after 4 p.m.
  • other campus locations
  • online classes.
• Financial Aid Processing Update
• The application processing time is 6-8 weeks for students who have completed the FAFSA for Lane and submitted all documents to complete a financial aid file at Lane.
   
• If you need to register for 12 credits for financial aid
  and/or
• need financial aid to attend Lane this fall,
  do not stay registered in classes after the refund deadline of 11:59 p.m., Sunday, October 3, unless you receive your fall award or have other means to pay for fall classes.

If you have already been admitted to Lane and you wish to complete one of the following, please do not apply again, instead follow the directions at the links below:

• Notify the college of a name change (married, divorced, correction)
• Provide Lane with your Social Security number
• Update your contact information (mailing address, e-mail address, phone number)
• Change your Program of Study/Major
