How to Get Started

To receive accommodations through Disability Resources (D.R.), complete the following steps, in any order:

  • Complete the college admission process and get your Lane student ID number (L#) through Enrollment Services.
  • Take the College Placement Tests at the Testing Office. There are 3 tests: reading, writing and math. If you think you need accommodations for the placement tests, contact Disability Resources prior to scheduling your tests.
  • Contact D.R. to make an appointment to attend a D.R. Orientation. At the orientation, we give examples of accommodations, explain our application/eligibility process, share resources and strategies, and answer questions.
  • Complete and submit application for Disability Resources.
  • Submit documentation of a disability, if needed.
  • Once D.R. has received your application and documentation, you may attend your intake appointment to request accommodations.
