The Academic Learning Skills Department offers courses for college credit that help students succeed in college by improving their reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, basic math and study skills.

The Counseling Department provides personal support services which allow students to profit from their Lane Community College experience. Students and prospective students may contact counselors or advisors directly during their posted office hours, or they may contact counselors and advisors through the Counseling office. Prospective students may meet with a counselor or advisor for information on a drop-in basis. Enrolled students may also use the center for brief advising or for referral for counseling or advising.
Credit students who have paid the Technology Fee have free, unlimited access to Lane computer labs for online courses, class assignments, and research.
The library provides facilities to give persons with disabilities equal access to its services and resources.
Lane's Code of Conduct describes conduct interfering with the responsibilities and obligations of the college. This document also outlines the penalties imposed for prohibited conduct and explains the procedural due process for alleged student violations and the protection of student rights.
All students attending Lane are eligible to use the LCC Health Clinic for emergency care, required immunizations, information and referral. Primary care and women's health care are funded through a student fee which is paid by credit students as part of ASLCC student fees. Only students paying this fee are eligible to use these services. Office visits are free; however fees are charged for some special services.

The TRiO Learning Center at Lane Community College helps students succeed. It is a federally funded program with the goal of helping students stay in school and successfully graduate from Lane Community College and/or transfer to a four-year institution. Services are provided free to eligible students to assist them in meeting the varied challenges of college life.
Programs at Lane Community College are approved by the State Board of Higher Education State Approving Agency as qualified training for students eligible for Veterans Administration education benefits.
