February 2004 - Todd Smith Facilities Management and Planning

Three cheers for Facilities Management and Planning because their department is the home of this month's classified Employee of the Month - Todd Smith. A Lane employee since July 1996, Todd is being recognized for his outstanding service at Lane that far exceeds his job description. His co-workers pointed out Todd's willingness to learn new skills, ability to save college funds during bond construction, negotiating and communication skills, and volunteering as a few of the reasons he should be considered for Employee of the Month. Todd, surprised by the well-wishers from the CPDT that invaded a department meeting Tuesday morning,  credited his departmental co-workers at the meeting for making it easy for him to do his job here at Lane.
