KUDOS and Congratulations go to March's employee of the Month - Wendell Butler.

Wendell is the general service coordinator at Lane's Downtown Center, but many people are know him for his work as co-chair for Lane's employee giving campaign for United Way and the Foundation the last two years. Those who nominated Wendell shared praise for his positive attitude, organizational skills, excellent customer service, and compassion for people less fortunate in our LCC and Lane County communities. Wendell has worked at Lane since October 1998 both at the Downtown Center and on main campus. Outside of his work at Lane, Wendell is busy. He recently completed his bachelor's degree in business management from Northwest Christian College, works swing shift in the facilities department at the city of Eugene, and spends time with his wife, daughter and grandchildren. He enjoys deep sea fishing, hiking, movies, and traveling in his "spare" time. Wendell's goal for his work is "to please my customers whether staff or students." Congratulations, Wendell!
