KUDOS and Congratulations go to November's employee of the Month - Mike Zimmerman.

Classified Employee of the Month for November works in Health, Physical Education and Athletics department. Mike Zimmerman was really surprised when he was presented with the balloons, special parking plaque, and the Employee of the Month pin. He has been a classified employee since September 1992.  Born in Tuba City, Arizona, Mike grew up in Eugene and Redmond areas of Oregon. He is a graduate of Lane's Early Childhood Education program.  Mike worked for 5 years in the Family and Health Careers department before moving to the Health, Physical Education and Athletics department.  When asked about hobbies, Mike answered, "Riding my bike to work daily and working at Lane".  Mike's nominations provided many outstanding examples of how he incorporates Lane's Core Values into his daily work. They also shared examples of how Mike constantly works "above and beyond" his job description.  We encourage staff and faculty to take a moment to congratulate Mike for winning November's Employee of the Month award.
