KUDOS and Congratulations go to March's Classified Employee of the Month - Ellen Jones. 

March Classified Employee of the Month Ellen Jones

Ellen Jones was surprised when she was told she was the March Employee of the Month winner.  Helen Garrett joined Colby Sheldon and other Classified Professional Development Team members to present Ellen the balloons, special parking certificate, and other winner goodies.  Ellen is the Veterans' Specialist in the Veterans' Office where she serves 500 Veterans and dependents.  She joined the LCC staff in September of 1986.  Ellen's supporters commented how her open office location near the front doors of building 1 has greatly increased her contact with all Lane students seeking assistance, directions, and general questions.  Ellen truly is an ambassador of customer service and good-will to everyone who enters building 1; and these unassigned duties were just some of the excellent "over and above" activities Ellen's nominators shared about this outstanding LCC employee. Congratulations Ellen for doing such a fine job for the students here at Lane.
