KUDOS and Congratulations go to July's employee of the Month - Cathie Reschke.

Kudos to Cathie Reschke, Advisor 2 and Staff Interpreter in Disability Services, Lane's Classified Employee of the Month for July. Cathie received this recognition last week in a celebration honoring her significant contributions to her department and the college over the past 15 years. Her nomination cited many examples of "above and beyond" performance including remarkably creative problem solving abilities, promoting accessibility training and awareness with staff around campus, and participation with commitments such as the Wellness Program, Learning Council and professional memberships. Cathie is dedicated to improving accessibility even through distance learning and satellite campus classes and working with many faculty members to help accommodate and solve issues. She thanked her co-workers and department members saying, "I am lucky to have the opportunity to work with you, and I couldn't do as much as I do without your help and cooperation." Be sure to congratulate Cathie when you see her. This is a well-deserved award for a dedicated and exemplary classified staff member.
