December Employee of the Month Kirsa Whedon, Business

KUDOS and Congratulations go to December's Classified Employee of the Month ñ Kirsa Whedon. 

Representatives of the Classified Professional Development Team and others surprised Kirsa Whedon on her way to lunch with her boss on Wednesday, presenting her with the Employee of the Month award for December.  Kirsa has been serving Lane for over 10 years and currently works as an Administrative Coordinator in the Business dept.  She has earned the respect of many of her colleagues, serving on many important college committees and task forces.  Kirsa is noted by her peers as a constant problem solver ñ for example, during the recent remodel of the Business dept. offices, she has thought ahead, and kept a ìcoolî head throughout the continuing process.  She can ìmulti-taskî without becoming rattled.  Outside of her involvement at Lane, Kirsa also is a proud Mother & Grandmother and helps with the Springfield High School Teen Parent Program.  When you see Kirsa Whedon in her temporary office, at a committee meeting, or elsewhere around campus, please congratulate her for doing a terrific job and celebrate her nomination as December's Employee of the Month.
