KUDOS and Congratulations go to November's employee of the Month ñ Anne Metzger.

Representatives of the Classified Professional Development Team surprised Anne Metzger (front row in red) at last Thursday's meeting for the Health Clinic staff, presenting her with the Employee of the Month award for November.  There was rousing applause by her colleagues, including her husband, Rod Metzger, who is an instructor in the Social Science division.  Anne has been serving Lane since 1982 and currently works as a Medical Technologist.  She is noted by her colleagues as an exceptional employee, always lending a hand and providing spirit and creativity.  In addition to running the lab, she performs many other needed tasks like performing EKGs, assisting in emergency response, and monitoring the Family Planning Expansion Program paperwork for quality assurance ñ things that aren't part of her assigned job.  She has a keen eye for streamlining and spatial design.  Wait till you see the new Health Clinic!  When you see Anne Metzger in the new Lane Health Clinic or elsewhere around campus, please congratulate Anne for doing a terrific job and celebrate her nomination as November's Employee of the Month.
