KUDOS and Congratulations go to August's Classified Employee of the Month - Amy Bennett.Representatives of the Classified Professional Development Team joined colleagues from across campus and the Conference & Culinary Services division to present Amy Bennett with the Employee of the Month award for August. Amy started as a timesheet employee in the Food Services office in December of 2000, and became a contracted employee in July of 2001. Colleagues compliment Amy on her willingness and enthusiasm to take on new projects, using technology to enhance efficiencies at Lane and in the Center for Meeting & Learning (CML). She has been instrumental in setting up online registration systems for CML events (e.g. the recent Glaser seminar); working with R25 software so event schedules can be easily accessed across campus; and of course the day to day operations of the C&CS division. Amy's positive, “How can we make it work?” attitude is an inspiration. Amy is involved on committees across campus and also helps with her young boys school fundraising activities. She's also the proud mother of an 18 month old baby girl – and boy, does she have pictures in her office! When you see Amy, congratulate her for doing a terrific job and celebrate her nomination as August's Classified Employee of the Month. Classified
