This class covers grammar, syntax, and the reading of sign. Emphasis
is on the use of expression and developing a social and cultural
understanding of the deaf community. Students with little or no
experience welcome! Come have fun with sign language!

Through the creative process, you will be encouraged to focus on what’s
important to you, whether that’s addressing challenges or celebrating
opportunities. Possible topics might include relationship issues,
childhood experiences, life goals, coping with depression/anxiety, etc.,
and/or identifying other areas in your life that might benefit from a fresh,
hands-on perspective. Materials provided. No art experience necessary.

Using photography as a means of self expression, this class explores
techniques and tools to thinking “outside the box” and unlocking your
creativity. Everything from collage, music, meditation, viewing
artwork will be explored using your photography. Some classes will
include live models. Bring your camera (digital or film) and unlock
your creativity. Come see examples of artist Paula Goodbar amazing
work on display at the Lane office!
