WHAT IS HIGH SCHOOL CONNECTIONS?

These programs help currently enrolled high school students make the transition from high school to college.  You can earn both high school and college credits (dual credit) for some courses to get an early start on college at substantial savings.

COLLEGE NOW

Approved College Now classes are held at your high school.  These college level courses are offered free for students who meet academic requirements. These include both academic and career/technical courses.

RTEC

The RTEC program offers both career and technical courses not available at your high school while other programs are located on participating high school campuses.  Some school districts will help pay for courses located on Lane Community College campuses.

EXPANDED OPTIONS

The Expanded Options program exists in some school districts to enable specifically identified high school students to take regular LCC classes for dual credit.

INDIVIDUAL HIGH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Some specific High School Partnership programs have been developed with local school districts for high school students.

TAKING REGULAR LCC COURSES

High School students can enroll in regular LCC courses for college credit with some restrictions.

GED

The GED program assists students who did not receive a high school diploma to earn a high school equivalency certificate.
