FUNDED PROJECTS ACCOUNTING

Grant Accounting assists in the fiscal management of grants and contracts received by Lane Community College. We perform various fiscal services to assure that college grants and contracts comply with all conditions, rules and regulations of LANE; external funding agencies; and the federal Office of Management and Budget. These grants support the goals and mission statement of Lane Community College.

What We Do

We handle the accounting, expenditure reporting and revenue collection for all of Lane's external funding derived from grants, contracts and cooperative agreements. Our goal is to provide services to ensure smooth fiscal administration of grants and contracts.

Primary Customers

Our primary customers are the agencies which provide revenue. We strive to ensure that each grantor's money is spent in accordance with its budgetary requirements and that these expenditures are reported back to the agency timely and accurately.

Secondary Customers

Our secondary customers are the Lane grant administrators who actually spend grant funds. Because of our considerable experience we can provide advice and assistance in successfully navigating Lane's internal processes -- account numbers, budgets, payroll actions, purchase orders, internal service orders -- that's us. If you administer a grant we can probably help you.
