“The Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education (OCNE) has found a home at Lane Community College's Center for Meeting and Learning.  The Consortium is made up of 14 nursing education program campuses throughout the state of Oregon.  For the past four years we have made the Center our gathering space.  It is the best location to gather geographically but perhaps more importantly feels like our space when we are there due to the working relationship we have developed with the Center staff.  The Center for Meeting and Learning staff make the OCNE statewide gatherings feel like an annual homecoming.”

lcc exit sign on I-5Lane Community College and the Center are centrally located in Western Oregon, an hour’s drive away from the rugged Pacific coast to the west and the snow-capped Cascade Mountains to the east. World-renowned Crater Lake, the city of Portland, and the Shakespearean Festival in Ashland are all within a few hours driving distance as well. Western Oregon offers beautiful scenery and many recreational opportunities.
