The most LCC-specific thing we discussed was about contracting and the possibility of students doing internships/co-op's with private contractors.
Attendance was low and 2 of the 5 total attending were from SAO/EUGLUG. The student came late and that is when we talked about the internships/co-op's.
April 10th: @ Quans
Discussion was on the PC industry and comoditization of hardware, as well as Linux support and the larger Apple/Windows/Linux compatibility (mostly support issues), and also touched on Catastrophe Theory for dessert.
May 8th: @ Chapala's
The discussion was about independent contracting and self-employment structures. Although attendance was minimal, we enjoyed ourselves.
