Beer and Bounty in the Garden

Imagine a warm summer night in the garden, dining on tables that are hand-crafted by LCC Construction Technology students, enjoying platter after platter of food that has been harvested from the garden beside you, uniquely infused with Ninkasi Beers and prepared by Culinary Students. Hospitality Management students welcome you as you arrive, take care of your every service need and execute the event flawlessly. For the first time, Al Fresco! invites the community into the Learning Garden to explore the grounds, experiment with beer and food pairing and enjoy an exquisite outdoor meal.
The Inaugural Al Fresco! fund-raising event will be held on Wednesday, August 20. Beer and food pairing demos by culinary students, music and a silent auction will be held in the garden from 4:30-6pm followed by a farm-style, family service meal from 6-8pm. Jamie Floyd, Founding Brewer of Ninkasi Brewing Company (Title Sponsor) is the featured speaker for the brief evening program.
Proceeds from the event directly support the Learning Garden, hands-on student learning opportunities and technology upgrades in the Center for Meeting and Learning at Lane.
