Massage in PracticeCourse Schedule and Information

The Massage Therapy Program at Lane Community College is an open-entry/open-exit program. You may begin classes in any term and enroll in as many or as few classes as meets your personal schedule. It is recommended students enroll in Introduction to Palpation, Anatomy/ Physiology/Pathology I, and Massage I early in their program to be well prepared for future courses. Lane makes an effort to offer every required pre-license course at least once each term, and to alternate class times between days and evenings when possible.

Attendance at first class is mandatory or your space may be given to another student. Students must carry personal liability insurance while enrolled in hands-on courses in the Massage Therapy program. Applications are available at the Downtown Center. Proof of personal liability insurance coverage will be required. Most classes have required text books. Textbooks are available for purchase in the downtown campus bookstore prior to the beginning of each term.

Also see "Course Descriptions" for course descriptions, required pre-requisites and cost of specific classes.
