APP I, II, and III

These new classes integrate A&P with Pathology, and will be followed in the Winter 2008 term by APP IV and V.

The “old” A&P and Pathology classes will slowly be phased out, but will continue through this 2008-09 academic year.

Basic Energy Awareness

A new 20-hour class

Will explore energy and centering, and how to create a safe space for therapist and clients.

Community Outreach & Student Clinic

Two classes combined into one, and now called: Community Student Clinic

Students will gain experience both in a clinic setting and in outreach to the community, in one class.

Anatomy/Kinesiology Lab

now called: Introduction to Palpation

Communications/Ethics

now called: Law/Ethics

Now with a greater emphasis on Oregon Administrative Rules and Statutes.

Spirit Within Our Work

now called: Communication from the Heart

Offered in Parts I and II. Taken by students in their first and last terms in two, five-week sections.

Upper & Lower Body

No longer a pre-licensure class

Energy Systems

No longer a pre-licensure class

Will be offered as a CEU for students who wish to test for NCBTMB National Certification.
