Sewing: Beginning-Advanced
Beginners learn commercial patterns and simple garments. More advanced students work at their own pace to upgrade individual skills. No previous experience necessary. Work on own project(s). Some sewing machines furnished. Students provide own supplies.

Sewing: Overlock-Serger, Basics and Beyond
Students provide own sergers. Learn how to thread and care for your serger, how to use the rolled hem stitch, how to sew lingerie, T-shirts and more. Use a variety of threads to do decorative serging, flatlocking and rolled edges, French hand sewing, insertion of beads and more.

Quick and Easy Machine Quilts
Learn quick-strip method for machine sewing quilts, as well as how to layer and machine quilt. Five quilt styles covered, including Log Cabin, Amish Shadow, Triple Rail, Irish Chain and Stars.

Crochet Design
In this class you will learn how to make crochet wearables. If you already know how to crochet but need some support with shaping and form, this is the class for you! You will learn how to measure yourself for a well-fitting garment, how to shape waistlines, armholes, necklines and sleeves. You will choose your project depending on your skill level. The instructor will offer ideas and many samples to help you in your project decision making. Sufficient yarn and crochet hook is required.

Knitting Design
Knitting has endless possibilities-you can make anything you want, anyway you want. In this class, you will be able to take your knitting skills to a new level! Learn how to measure yourself for knitwear that fits correctly. You will learn how to make shapes that form the finish product. You will, also, learn how to shape a waistline, armholes, necklines and sleeves. You will choose your project. Enjoy the choice of different techniques, cables, knit/purl textures or laces. Sufficient amount of yarn and knitting needles is required.

Yarn Recycling Workshop
Do you love to knit or crochet? Yarn can be expensive but there is a way to access affordable yarn. In this workshop you will learn how to recycle old knitted garments and Turn it into reusable yarn. Bring old sweater and I will show you how to unravel it. We will go through the whole process so your recycled yarn will look like new. For this workshop you will need one used sweater (check inside if seams are serged that garment cannot be recycled) and seam ripper or small scissors.

Fashion Illustration and Portfolio
Learn fashion design and illustration techniques that enable you to visually communicate design ideas and create portfolio quality fashion layouts. This course covers the principles and elements of fashion design, image research, concept development, mood and inspiration boards, fabric selection and fundamentals of fashion illustration. You will learn to draw the fashion figure, illustrate styles and fabrics and render in color using various mediums. The skills you learn in this course will enable you to build a fashion portfolio to apply to fashion school, get a job in the fashion industry or simply design the clothing you've always dreamed of.

ReFashion Lab
Make your own unique fashion statement by transforming everyday objects into wearable art! During this five-week fashion workshop series, you will gain hands-on experience working with newspaper, cardboard, scavenged cloth and metal, as you explore ways to up-cycle everyday objects and used clothing into creative "trashion fashion" pieces. No art or sewing experience required.
