The Lane Bookstore offers a wide variety of electronic study aides such as calculators, cassette and micro cassette players and recorders, electronic spellers, dictionaries, translators, and batteries for them all. We also buy and sell used TI-83+ calculators.

What kinds of electronic devices help students succeed? Many students find that using electronic devices in their studies helps them succeed with ease.  Listed below is a sampling of items that are available in our electronics department:

Electronic Devices and Supplies: 

• Calculators: We stock our shelves with a wide variety of calculators for students of any math level. Our most popular calculator is the TI-83 graphing calculator which is required for many math classes at LCC. We help students save money buying and selling used TI-83 graphing calculators. • Cassette Recorders and Players: Some students find it useful to bring a recording device to class as an alternative or addition to taking notes by hand. A benefit for choosing cassette tapes is that they can be recorded by a hand held device and played back on a common cassette tape recorder, such as in a car or home stereo system. We stock our shelves with several different models of cassette tape recorder.
   

• Micro Cassette Recorders and Players: Micro cassette recorders and players are another popular choice among student's who like to bring recording devices to class. A micro cassette's small size allows the recorder's design to be small as well.
   

•  CD and portable MP3 Players: Listen on the go... We stock several different CD players and MP3 players.
   

• Electronic Dictionaries: Are you a writing student on the go? Carry your dictionary in your shirt pocket! 
   

• Electronic Spellers: We all need confidence in our spelling. You can carry that confidence with you at all times when you carry an electronic speller.
   

• Electronic Translators: An electronic translator is something that not only international travelers find useful... use an electronic translator to help you learn a foreign language.

Sell back your TI-83+ graphing calculator!  The TI-83+ is required for many math classes at Lane. Because of it's popularity we buy and sell used TI-83 graphing calculators. 

How to sell back your TI-83+ calculator:

• Come into the Lane Main Campus Bookstore during finals week.
   

• Bring in your TI-83+ graphing calculator with the manual and the cord that came with it.
   

• You must demonstrate that the calculator is still in good working condition and can create graphs.
   

• You will receive 50% of the price that you paid for the calculator.
