5 steps for applying for Financial Aid

FA step 1Apply at www.pin.ed.gov for your U.S. Department of Education PIN (Personal Identification Number).

FA step 2Apply for financial aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov using the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Submit as soon as possible after January 1 for the 2008/2009 academic year.
TIP: It’s a good idea to fill out the FAFSA on the web worksheet before completing the FAFSA online, to make sure you have all the required information.

FA step 3Review your SAR (Student Aid Report), and make changes if necessary. The SAR is a summary of the information you submitted on your FAFSA.

FA step 4Apply for admission, and declare your degree at www.lanecc.edu.

FA step 5Access ExpressLane—a group of web services for Lane students—to review outstanding requirements. Respond to all requests as soon as possible.
