The LCC Animal Support Committee is funded entirely by donations. Since October 1998, the committee has spent over $5,566. This amount is mostly spent on veterinary cost and food. Other expenses include feeding dishes, shelters, adoption packages and clean up supplies. The majority of the money is contributed by students, staff and committee members. Here are some of the ways you can contribute:

• Donation jars are located in the bookstore
• With a payroll deduction through Human Resources (LCC employees)
• By cash or check to the Foundation
• Donate refundable cans and bottles
• Donate bags or cans of quality cat food
• Donate directly to a committee member
• Volunteer on the committee
• Volunteer to provide foster care for animals in need
