LCC Art Gallery is pleased to announce the
2009-2010 Exhibition Call to Artists

The LCC Art Gallery is committed to offering a rich and diverse cultural experience to the campus community as well as to the greater metropolitan area.

The LCC Art Gallery offers people a transformative opportunity to experience life as depicted by regional, national, and international artists. It is our goal to provide exhibitions which are inclusive of a variety of media and concepts. We provide exhibitions that will enhance life long experiences. We also create educational opportunities for our students as well as providing an exhibition venue for area student artwork.

The LCC Art Gallery is now accepting submissions for the
2009-2010 Exhibition Schedule.

LCC Art Gallery will be scheduling 6 exhibitions for each year.

Artists working in all 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional art, including installation art are invited submit proposals.

Selection Procedure: Work will be juried by a panel of professional artists. Work will be selected for exhibition based on submitted images.

If accepted works do not contain the same qualities as indicated in the images, or if presentation is unsuitable, the jurors may decline accepted entries after they are received at the LCC Art Gallery.

Gallery Sales: A 25% commission will be retained by the Gallery for all works sold. Sales will be encouraged, although artists may display work that is not for sale.

Delivery of Work: Shipping to and from the LCC Art Gallery is at the artist’s expense. Prepayment paperwork or a check for the proper return shipping amount must be received by the Art Center.

Liability: The Art Center will use a great degree of care handling artwork in its possession. The LCC Art Gallery is insured while the work is on the premises. The artist is responsible for damage, theft, or destruction during transportation to and from the LCC Art Gallery.

Agreement: Submissions of any entries constitutes agreement to all conditions mentioned in this prospectus. Duplicates of the prospectus may be used to submit entries.

Reproduction: The LCC Art Gallery reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for all marketing purposes.

LCC Art Gallery Submission Procedures

To be considered by our jury, you must complete the following:

1. Fill out the application provide below.
2. Provide a CD with 5 - 10 digital images of your work. Please save all digital images in JPEG format, 300 dpi. Label each image with your name, title of the piece, medium, and size. (Indicate the top.)
3. Provide a comprehensive resume and artist’s statement.
4. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope, with sufficient postage and of adequate size, for the return of your submission.

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
