An 'atom' on Adam
Versatile, yet discriminating. Demanding, yet encouraging. Adam will
never ask a student to accomplish something outside of his/her capabilities.
But rest assured.....he will push you to the limits of your artistic imagination,
with such flair, patience, and humor, that you will leave his courses
feeling breathlessly confident.
Adam graduated with a B.F.A. from Evergreen College in Iowa, and an
M.A., and M.F.A. from The University of Iowa in 1986. Adam is both an
art instructor at Lane (visual/painting/drawing), and an
adjunt professor at the University of Oregon.
Adam has a prestigious list of public collection clients, and has
presented at an imposing number of painting exhibitions. One of the premier,
and upcoming artist in the Pacific Northwest, you can see Adam buzzing
around the L.C.C. campus with boundless energy. Whether it is visiting
with students, conferring with fellow faculty, or running from class to
class, Adam inspires both the young, and not-so-young, that anything is
obtainable.
