Archives: Guide to Lane Community College Anniversary Records

Lane Community College was founded on October 19, 1964, when the voters of Lane County approved the formation of the college. The college has marked the 20th (1984), 25th (1989), 30th (1994), and 40th (2004) anniversaries with special exhibits and events.  The Archives holds several collections that document these anniversaries.

Description of Contents:  The photograph poster exhibit is titled "LCC: The Early Years" and consists of one title board and five photographs mounted on poster board.  The video exhibit is also titled "LCC: The Early Years" and contains 39 b/w photographs with captions of students, staff, and campus activities between 1966-1976.  The exhibit and video were probably produced as part of the celebration of the college's 30th anniversary.
