Member Officer bio's

SHIRLEY LUKACS - Membership Vice President 's bio:

I attended Lane Community College for three years (1987-1990). While at Lane, I was a Student Service Associate (worked in the Career Center and the Counseling Dept.). I graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Psychology. I am currently working on my Masters Certificate in Academic Advising. I have lived in several foreign countries (India, Germany, Canary Islands, briefly in Pakistan) and I have traveled to several other countries.

I attended Oregon Institute of Leadership Development (OILD) in 2003. This experience was profound. I began to see my role at Lane as more than the position I was hired for, but also as a person working to create a positive and supportive environment with my coworkers. I have attended AAWCC conferences which continue to support leadership and professional growth. I am currently Vice President of Membership for our campus chapter and look forward to actively involving other women in this organization.
