Purpose and Goals
PURPOSE:
-
To develop a community of women for personal and professional growth at Lane Community College.
-
To encourage education program development for women at Lane Community College.
-
To recognize and uphold the purpose and bylaws of the state chapter and national organization of AAWCC.
GOALS FOR 2006-07:
-
To provide learning opportunities for women at Lane Community College.
-
To provide opportunities to celebrate the accomplishments of women at Lane Community College.
-
To provide opportunities for social events that would enhance networking and sharing of innovative ideas.
-
To sponsor and co-sponsor guest speakers on issues of interest to women at Lane Community College.
-
To raise money for the AAWCC Leadership Award Fund.
-
To provide mentorship and respond to the needs of the community.
We meet the first Wednesday of the month from 12-1p.m.
